Who We Are

Coosa Posts, LLC. was initially established in 1979 operating under the company known as Valley Wood in Gore, Ga. In December of 2018, Valley Wood chose to relocate the post mill to it’s existing location in Rome, Ga. In 2022, Pat Nixon (middle back) purchased the post mill from Valley Wood and renamed it Coosa Posts, LLC. Mr. Nixon has worked relentlessly in establishing great relationships with our local loggers and building a team within the company who embrace safety, dedication to one another, and sound ethical behavior. Our team’s mission is to provide our customers with the highest quality posts with less than 1/4 inch in diameter taper from the top of the posts to the bottom.
